Gülsün Karamustafa’s most comprehensive show has opened at Salt. A Promised Exhibition was on view at both SALT Beyoğlu and SALT Galata, through 5 January 2014. A long-overdue survey, A Promised Exhibition takes its name from the artist’s series Promised Paintings (1998-2004) and puts in perspective the two disparate aspects of Karamustafa’s artistic career. The sketch shows an exhibition map for a highly conceptualized and expanded evaluation of Gülsün Karamustafa’s art production of over forty years, A Promised Exhibition.
