bio | Anders Kreuger was the founding director of the Nordic Council of Minsters Information Office in Vilnius from 1991 to 1995, director of the Nordic Arts Center in Helsinki from 1995 to 1997, and founding director of the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art in Helsinki from 1997 to 1999. As an independent curator, he has organised numerous exhibitions all over Europe. Since 2006, he has been a curator at Lunds konsthall, from 2007 to 2010 he was director of the Malmö Art Academy, Lund University, and a member of the Programme Team for the European Kunsthalle in Cologne. Since 2010 he has been a curator at M HKA, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Antwerp. He has also been teaching at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen, Royal College of Art in London, and several other European art academies. He was an advisor to the Raqs Media Collective at Manifesta 7 in Bolzano, and a member of the editorial team for the journal A Prior in Ghent. Anders Kreuger regularly writes essays for catalogues and journals, and he has edited numerous publications.
